Overview

Song Power is fiscally sponsored by Creative Visions Foundation (CVF). CVF is a publicly supported 501c3, which supports Creative Activists who use the power of media and the arts to affect positive change in the world.   

We can now accept donations and grants under this 501c3 umbrella. Creative Visions has teamed up with Songpower to launch multiple songs and campaigns. Our first song to be launched is the female empowerment anthem called, "Slingshot". We ALL have challenges that may devastate us and hold us back. We can either let it destroy us and give up or we can choose to turn our pain into purpose and trials into triumph by being just like a SLINGSHOT! We are raising funds to share the SLINGSHOT MOVEMENT with those needing encouragement to overcome their challenges and rise above adversity. This song can connect with causes that raise awareness about: abuse, sexual harassment, anti-bullying, human trafficking, gender equality, mental illness and more.

 Many more songs are currently connecting with powerful causes making inspiring changes in the world. We are interested in partnerships with like minded organizations addressing global warming, gun safety, female empowerment, mental illness, suicide prevention, addiction/codependency, music education, and the like.

USE CASE

 We can impact what matters most and change the world by sharing our own stories of trials and triumphs. We connect humanity with music. Music is the most powerful and universal language in the world especially when it is connected to a meaningful cause which benefits humanity. We collaborate with songwriters around the globe to create or collect songs with a specific theme and or cause in mind. We then connect with a like minded organization who uses the song on its website, commercials, events, social media etc. to raise awareness. The song is offered for sale as a download and streams on I-tunes, Amazon, Tidal, Spotify, and other platforms. Merchandise like themed T-shirts, bracelets, hats, pins, journals, etc are created promoting the song and cause branded together, with proceeds from the above going to support the cause and foundation. The audience is inspired by the song and cause and motivated to join the movement by buying and sharing the song, purchasing merchandise, joining events and becoming ambassadors and collaborators for the organization.

IMPACT ON INDUSTRY/ CASE STUDY

Many people suffer with addiction, depression, abuse, mental illness or any other trial that may seem to hold them back. Think of something that has held you back and imagine that pull and pain only holding you back for a temporary time just so it can launch you into greatness. The song “Slingshot” has now been turned into a music video with 25 Goddess women all standing together on Skid Row in LA, to empower anyone going through a hard time, to get back up, keep believing in themselves and to be a Slingshot warrior. This message of resilience has already helped so many who need the encouragement to hold on, to have faith and to get back up! This song has connected with causes such as human trafficking, sexual harassment, gender inequality, addiction and suicide prevention. We are SLINGSHOT WARRIORS and we will turn our PAIN INTO PURPOSE and our TRIALS INTO TRIUMPH!

Songpower is collaborating with MASTERCARD to write a song for their new compilation CD. The new song, “Priceless” will be aligned with the sound scape created by Mike Shinoda and infuse the signature notes into the DNA of the song. The song lyrics and melody will be inspirational, motivational and timeless intended to pull heart strings and engage the listeners emotions. The song will speak to women and GEN Xers globally.

 We will promote the brand and identity of Mastercard through live music events associated with likeminded non profits and music artists. Mastercard and SONGPOWER will partner with Livenation, Superfly, AEG or with the Recording Academy to produce events that will raise awareness for the chosen cause and promote the arts. We will decide on a current cause and/or non-profit company that resonates with the Mastercard brand such as empowering women leaders, environmental awareness, small business support, GIRLS4TECH, The AMERICAN RED CROSS, Gun Safety Alliance, etc.

We will join forces with the Sonic sounds of Mastercard to produce a live music event where multiple artists will entertain and raise awareness for the brand and the cause.

The Mastercard logo will go on all promotional material and digital branding. We will verbally plug and thank Mastercard on stage between acts. We will promote via social media and in local music magazines. We will retain a videographer to professionally capture the event and provide footage for future promotions.

 We will LIVE STREAM the acts via STAGEIT. Facebook, Instagram.

CUSTOMER

"Believe in a Miracle", written by myself & 2 Swedish songwriters was used in The Long Beach Rescue Mission commercial, inspiring hundreds of people to donate to the organization. A fundraising gala was held where the song was performed while 50 rehabilitated men walked in singing in suits and ties. There was not a dry eye and everyone was deeply moved to see these sober men cleaned up and off the streets singing along. The Long Beach Rescue Mission surpassed their goals and contributes the success to SONG POWER’s song and performance of “Believe in a Miracle”!

 What would be your contribution to our community?

I would contribute my voice, songs, story, passion, pain and purpose to the community. I am a SLINGSHOT and will use all my struggles and pain to catapult me into my mission. We are stronger together and the synergy between inspiring, like minded individuals can create a more empowering, peaceful and productive world. I've sung with amazing artists such as; Jermaine Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Evan Ross (Diana’s son), Halsey and more and will utilize my relationships and industry connections to bring on board powerful influencers who can help us make an even greater impact.

Kathy Eldon was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Wellesley College and has since worked as an art teacher, television presenter, magazine editor, journalist, media consultant and a television and film producer in Kenya, England and the United States.

Darren is a Financial Advisor in the Irvine Merrill Lynch Wealth Management office and a Partner of Siegrist, Patel & Associates. Darren has been in the financial services industry for over 22 years and joined Merrill in 2017. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and earned an M.B.A. from The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.

RICHARD GIBBS

Richard “Ribbs” Gibbs is an American film composer and music producer. Richard Gibbs is a multi-hyphenate music futurist. The classically trained former keyboardist for seminal L.A. band Oingo Boingo has worked as a session keyboardist and arranger on uncounted records and soundtracks for artists like Robert Palmer, War, Aretha Franklin, and Tom Waits. His film scores have been featured in over 60 films including Say Anything, Dr. Dolittle, and Queen of the Damned and among his many TV scoring credits are the Simpsons and the themes for the reimagined Battlestar Galactica,.
