featuring Summer Rona & Antix....music produced & engineered by Bobby Rich. Antix video shot in the UK, Summer's footage shot in the US by The Riker Brothers. After performing & co-writing with Alex & Bobby Rich for a couple years, they were shocked to learn that a bubbly girl like me could have had such a soul shattering experience. Alex encouraged me to talk to my ex-husband, Tyson, about telling our story. Tyson got behind it 100%. I re-visited the letters from prison addressed "Dear Summer", journal entries, e-mail correspondence and home videos and I knew that there was a very powerful & serious message to share. One of warning, one of loss and one of hope.
We are telling the true and tragic story of addiction and it's ability to destroy everything in its way. During a man's desperate cry for help, a broken system turned him away due to lack of funds, no available beds, insurance, age & county restrictions, etc. Trapped in the cycle of a terrible relapse, his mind was clouded with hopelessness & dead ends & he made a drastic mistake that changed our lives in an instant. We all have free will, but when we give into our addictions, we give up our power.
Our everyday choices are so crucial and can lead us closer to who we truly are or further away. We can't wait until it is too late.

Thursday November 17 my single "perfect world" will be going up against several other songs and artists nominated for best pop song for the 2011 Hollywood Music and Media Awards at the world famous Kodak Theater complex in Hollywood, Ca.
This event has risen to become the choice of the industry in Hollywood as the de-facto music celebration where “The Future of Music” is presented today! Bands, Songwriters, Composers from around the globe have submitted their works for consideration.
The Hollywood Music and Media Awards recognizes and honors the music in visual mediums, the talented individuals responsible for creating and placing it, and the music of both mainstream and independent artists from around the globe for their compositions and recordings in all forms of media including film, TV, video games, commercial advertisements, movie trailers and music videos.
Just to be nominated is a great honor and I look forward to showcasing my talents to a national audience as this show will be post televised to millions of Americans nationwide and I hope all of my fans out there will be able to watch it and support me.

This is the truth and I'm finally telling it! ha...what haven't I overcome? From falling off a 30 foot cliff & breaking both my legs, my back and my arm, to rolling my car, to getting T-boned in an intersection which caused a severe concussion, to my fathers tragic unexpected death from a motorcycle accident, to witnessing my husbands horrific substance abuse relapse...which led to a 7 year prison sentence, to divorce, to moving 21 times in 2 yrs to follow gigs, to sacrificing years far away from family & friends or any sort of a normal life, to singing on Hollywood Blvd for food money, to getting all sorts of odd jobs to pay for this expensive passion (flight attendant, bridal consultant, car salesman, voice teacher, starting a nutritional company), to getting large business loans to invest in my dream, to raising $100K in a week from investors to pursue music, to working 100's of hours/wk to write & perform & learn this business for over 12 years, to putting myself through MTSU…a music college, to not taking a vacation for years, to doing pro bono jobs just to get "exposure" and experience. To starting my own production company where I wrote jingles & TV commercials to make a living, to meeting hundreds of shady, dishonest people in this industry who have wasted my time & money and faith in search for a capable and talented team. To learning to produce, write and record on my own so I can finally express my heart and story in a truthful and emotional way.

Summer is back in Utah for the Taylorsville Dayzz Festival. This event will feature fireworks, sky divers, an orchestra, a car show, great food, a carnival and more. Over 20,000 people will be in attendance as Summer performs from 8pm to 10pm — stay for the fireworks show at 10pm. Summer will be singing several songs including, "Rewind", the award winning, "Soul Static", and her debut of, "What if I". She will also sing the beautiful duet, "You don't bring me flowers" with Neil Diamond Tribute artist, Jay White. Summer's limited edition signed EP will be available at the show. See you there!
